Hohoe, Ghana

November 29, 2009 Great flight from Casablanca to Accra…we got to stretch out in our own rows; ipods, books and puzzles entertaining us until 2am. Excited to see the sign, “CARE NET GHANA”, that our host would be holding up…we hurried to pick up our luggage! But, alas the traveling demon strikes once again… no …

Goodbye Fergus!

It seemed to take forever but after the house sold and with a closing date of June 19th, it gave us 5 weeks to pack up, clean up and find a place to live until we finished up at our jobs.  So Ann, realizing what had to be done…quickly leaped into action… and flew down …

Why Fakowee??

May 6, 2008 For those of you who wonder what is or why are we using the name “Fakowee” let me explain.  It’s from an old joke that I think my friend Don Bradley told me years ago.  And, yeah, its kind of lame (remember…it was Don’s joke!)  but it has stuck with me and …
